Mo’ajeza = Chamatkaar | Bashar = insaan

Kab se apni tlash mien gum hun
Aye khuda.! mujh ko mujh pe afsha* kar

afsha = zahirhona (raaz khulna)

Jis pe ab ungliyaN uthaa taa hun
Us ko mangaa tha haath phelaa kar

Aey bichharh kar n laut ne waale
Dukh ki ratoN mien yaad aayaa kar

Jal chuka shehar, mar chuke baasi*
Ab bujhi raakh hi kuredaa kar

Baasi = Basera karne wale/ rehne wale

Umar bhar mujh pe barf barsi hai
Dasht* ki dhoop mujh pe saayaa kar

Dasht = veerana / biyabaan

Ek tanhaa shajar* ne mujh se kahaa
Mere saye mein roz baithaa kar

Shajar = darakht

Tu..! ke mu’ajiza numa* he naam teraa
Mein ke zarrah huN mujh ko sehraa kar

Mu’ajiza numa = chamatkaar jaisa

Ay mere kuchh n sochne waale..!!
Apne bare mein kuchh to sochaa kar

Mein izaadaar* hun andheroN kaa
Tu sahar* hai to mujh se pardah kar

Izadaar = Ronewala/Sogwaar | Sahar = sawera/subah

Ay smandar ke abr-e-aawarah
Dasht mein ek pal to thehraa kar

Kon baategaa dukh tere “Muhsin”
DostoN se bhi chhup ke royaa kar
